Paradiso, a large luminous flat on the thirteenth floor of Vasto's only other high-rise, with two or three bedrooms, large eat-in kitchen, spacious living room, balcony with vista of La Majella and Gran Sasso Mountains. Near supermarkets, shops, banks, post offices, and a 20-minute walk to the main square on what is the main road. Reasonable rates: from 420 Euro per week for up to 4 guests.

Fernando's is 2 minutes from the center of Vasto Marina, with two bedrooms, large living room, eat-in kitchen, a nice home with plenty of personal touches, good for 2-4 guests, but more expensive than the previous two; depending on the season, we're looking at 35-40 euro per person per night.

Casa Dante, in Vasto's historic centre, good for two guests, kitchenette, dining room, tiny internal courtyard; cute, cool, dark, great location for wandering centro storico. Again, 35-40 euro per person per night.
